BI Nutraceuticals, Long Beach, CA, has named Katie Ferren director of its botanical products division. As director of botanical products, Ms. Ferren will be responsible for the strategic direction of the company’s herbal extracts and herbal powders and tea divisions. Prior to joining BI, Ms. Ferren served as marketing director for Opti­Pure/Soft Gel Technologies.
